Technical Delivery Manager in Nottingham

Requirements

• We require 5+ years of experience leading technical delivery or project management for connected physical products, Io T, consumer electronics, or automotive hardware integrated with software platforms.
• We require direct, hands-on experience managing China or Asian supply chains, offshore ODMs/OEMs, and contract manufacturers through formal NPI processes.
• We require a solid understanding of embedded C/C++, microcontrollers, board bring-up, and how firmware interacts with mobile apps and cloud platforms.
• We require demonstrated experience taking multiple physical products through tooling, EVT/DVT/PVT cycles, factory ramp-up, and mass production.
• We require the ability to work full-time on-site from our office HQ to collaborate closely with technical leadership and physical product samples.
• Experience in consumer electronics, dash cameras, automotive aftermarket devices, or connected telematics is desirable.
• Working knowledge of supply chain logistics, customs/import factors, and factory audit processes in East Asia is desirable.
• A hands-on technical background in engineering, software development, or firmware architecture is desirable.

Responsibilities

• We will have you drive hardware and software delivery schedules through all build stages, from prototyping and design verification (EVT/DVT/PVT) to mass production and post-launch updates.
• We will have you act as the primary technical point of contact for overseas contract manufacturers, ODMs, and component suppliers across China and the Far East.
• We will have you manage factory schedules, tooling sign-offs, component lead times, and offshore build quality.
• We will have you coordinate cross-functional work streams across mechanical/electrical engineering, embedded firmware, mobile apps, and cloud infrastructure to eliminate bottlenecks and manage technical dependencies.
• We will have you proactively identify technical risks, lead time delays, and quality bottlenecks, and establish contingency plans to protect critical path delivery timelines.
• We will have you define and track delivery metrics, manage product change requests (ECOs), and oversee factory acceptance testing, firmware release validation, and compliance sign-offs.

We are hiring a Technical Delivery Manager for our Engineering & Product Delivery team in a 100% office-based, full-time role.

This is a high-impact position where we lead complex product developments from early design concepts through mass production and release, bridging hardware design, embedded firmware, and connected software platforms.

We work closely with UK-based and India software teams, internal cross-functional leads, and Far East/China contract manufacturers to deliver high-quality physical products and seamless software integrations on schedule.
