My client is seeking a motivated Geotechnical Engineer to join their team in Manchester. You will be part of a highly regarded specialised contractor that delivers a wide variety of ground engineering projects across the infrastructure, renewable energy, and marine sectors. This role offers the chance to contribute to technically challenging projects while working alongside an experienced and supportive team.

The role is primarily site based and involves carrying out and overseeing geotechnical investigations, including Phase 1 and Phase 2 works. You will supervise ground investigation contractors and coordinate daily site activities, monitoring ground conditions and supporting the identification and management of geohazards. The position also includes checking and interpreting in-situ and laboratory test results to inform site decisions, as well as supporting and mentoring graduate engineers on site. You will liaise regularly with clients, contractors, and wider project teams to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently.
