In-House Legal Solutions is an entrepreneurial legal services business disrupting the legal industry. We’re a forward-thinking legal business based in the North West, which specialises in providing outsourced contract negotiation, legal document review and project services to an impressive list of both UK based and global financial institutions, using teams of paralegals trained in-house by us.

Responsibilities and Duties - What we are looking for

We are growing rapidly, with plans to bring in new clients to add to our already impressive client base and to launch new service offerings. To help us do this we need an additional solicitor of between approximately 2-4 years PQE (but this can be flexible) to join us who is proactive and up for the challenge that being part of a dynamic business brings. We currently specialise in financial services and assist our clients with the negotiation of commercial agreements arising out of both M&A and debt transactions, such as confidentiality agreements, engagement letters for the provision of services, and more specific transaction documentation. We are looking for a commercial, corporate or banking lawyer ideally with an interest in global financial services and investments, who is confident dealing closely with high profile clients. The role will involve close supervision of our paralegal teams, and so it would suit a solicitor that is keen to be responsible for leading and training a team of more junior lawyers. It will also involve reviewing and negotiating more complex contracts, assisting us with the development of our internal processes and library of precedents, marketing and branding, business development, and researching and leading the implementation of new service offerings, not to mention working closely with the founders to help grow the business into one of the most successful managed legal services providers in the country.

Qualifications and Skills - We would like to meet talented lawyers who:

• Have between 2-4 years post qualification experience as a solicitor (this can be flexible - additional qualification levels will also be considered), and are qualified preferably in England and Wales or any other Commonwealth jurisdiction (although other jurisdictions may be considered).
• Can demonstrate strong technical legal ability, excellent attention to detail and a commercial mind.
• Are brimming with energy, ideas, a positive outlook and a can-do attitude.
• Are comfortable taking responsibility, running with projects and have a desire to lead.
• Are IT competent - a good grasp of professional social-media is preferred but not essential.
• Are fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication, and be legally able to work in the UK without restriction.
