A highly regarded law firm is seeking a talented Private Client Associate to join its established team in Guildford. The team is widely recognised for advising high net worth individuals and families on complex wealth, succession and tax planning matters, both in the UK and internationally. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior to mid-level Lawyer to join a respected private wealth practice with strong client relationships and a varied workload.
The successful candidate will play a key role in advising private clients on a broad range of personal wealth matters. Working as part of a collaborative team, they will manage their own caseload while supporting on more complex matters.
Responsibilities- Advising clients on UK succession and tax planning
- Drafting wills, trusts and related estate planning documentation
- Managing a varied caseload with appropriate supervision
- Supporting business development initiatives such as seminars, events and pitches
- Collaborating with colleagues and, where appropriate, assisting in supervising junior team members
- Contributing to internal knowledge sharing and maintaining high professional standards
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent)
- Experience advising on private client matters including wills, trusts and tax planning
- Exposure to high-net-worth individuals
- Strong drafting and organisational skills
- A proactive and collaborative approach to team working
- Excellent client communication skills and attention to detail
