You'll design and build advanced analytical and machine learning solutions that directly impact the growth strategies of brands including the Financial Times, MyProtein and The Independent. As a senior individual contributor, you will own the end-to-end data science lifecycle β from problem framing with clients through to model deployment and insight activation. This is a pivotal role for an experienced data scientist ready to drive real-world business outcomes across growth marketing, CRM, media optimisation, and beyond.
We understand that no one can do everything β this role spans a wide remit. We're looking for someone with deep skills in some areas and genuine interest in developing others. The scope of the role will flex depending on your strengths.

- Design, build and validate statistical and ML models end-to-end, including feature engineering, model selection, evaluation and iteration
- Build MMM and bespoke models in response to client needs
- Apply forecasting, clustering, NLP and causal inference techniques where appropriate
- Ensure outputs are practical, explainable and drive business decisions
- Own model deployment and monitoring in cloud environments (GCP, AWS or similar), ensuring models remain robust in production
- Define reporting strategies for stakeholders β who needs what, when, and why
- Design high-impact BI dashboards that bring clarity and insight
- Deliver recommendations that are both data-rich and action-focused
- Configure analytics tools such as GA4 and Adobe Analytics to track the right data
- For smaller clients: centralise and clean marketing data using proprietary tools
- For larger clients: manage ETL processes and build scalable, clean tables
- Lay strong data foundations to enable analytics, reporting and modelling
- Write production-quality SQL and Python for data pipelines, transformations and model inputs
- Deploy and maintain models using GCP, AWS or similar; familiarity with MLOps tooling (e.g. Vertex AI, MLflow) a plus

- Translate analysis into actionable guidance for media, CRO, CRM and creative
- Lead insight and trading meetings with clients, owning the narrative and driving decisions
- Proactively identify analytical opportunities within client accounts and shape the roadmap for data science work
- Help teams across In Digital and our clients make better, more data-informed decisions
What We're Looking For
- 4-5+ years' post-graduate industry experience in a data science (or similar) role, with a minimum of 1 year working on Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM)
- Strong data science foundations: statistics, machine learning, experimentation and model evaluation
- Solid experience in at least three of the key responsibility areas above
