Account Director – typical responsibilities:

  • Spearheading our client teams & owning the media marketing strategy – developing effective plans that speak to the client priorities and deliver results
  • Client relationship management at all levels, from CMOs to marketing execs
  • Client budget management, planning and forecasting
  • Leading great teams of marketers to help them deliver brilliant work, develop their skills and progress in their careers
  • Campaign set-up, management and optimisation in one or more of these areas:
  • Paid Search / Shopping campaigns
  • Paid social
  • Programmatic display
  • Mobile app marketing
  • Be on the pulse with performance, reporting and analysis, proactively generating insights and recommendations
  • Proposing optimisations and ideas for growth/increased efficiencies
  • Presentations to senior client stakeholders

A bit about you:

  • Strategic and planning experience underpinned by solid experience in activation, building effective campaigns
  • Confident in identifying areas of opportunity and planning approaches based on client needs, seeing them through to execution.
  • Comfortable being a bridge from strategy to execution, supporting the more junior team through it, and keen to get stuck in the detail as and when required
  • Demonstrable expertise in successfully managing at least one performance channel, e.g. PPC, Social or Programmatic Display, preferably in a specialist agency setting
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with confidence to operate in a very client-facing role. Comfortable providing thought-leadership and proactive recommendations to clients.
  • Highly analytical and numerate – preferably with experience with analytics tools like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
  • Excellent understanding of the marketing technology landscape, vendors and tools

Things we like, but aren’t essential:

  • Media experience within the Entertainment industry a plus, but not necessary
  • Some experience in other channels or areas of digital (such as CRO, CRM or Analytics)
  • Experience in mobile marketing and mobile attribution
  • A good understanding of the creative briefing process and creative optimisation
  • Degree in an analytical subject
