The Deals Tax Team provides tailored advice on complex deals, from mergers and acquisitions to real assets and corporate restructuring.

- Collaborates across multi-disciplinary teams including Transaction Services and international tax networks.

The Role Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored tax advice aligned with UK GAAP, IFRS, and tax laws.
- Manage due diligence and structuring for crossâborder deals.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout deal cycles.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated deal solutions.
- Mentor junior staff and share technical knowledge.
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry trends impacting deals and tax strategies.
The Ideal Candidate
- Chartered Accountant (ACA, ICAEW, ICAS, CAI) or Chartered Tax Advisor (ATT, CTA).
- Minimum 5 years' experience in tax consulting focused on M&A, corporate restructuring, or transactions.
- Deep understanding of UK GAAP, IFRS, and FRS 102 standards.
- Proven track record in crossâborder deal advisory and tax planning.
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, tax software, and project management tools.
- Experience with data analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Knowledge of tax automation systems and workflow tools.
- Participation in M&A or tax transformation projects would be beneficial.
