Are you a senior-level accounting professional who enjoys leading complex statutory reporting, advising stakeholders, and running large, multi-entity engagements? This role is designed for an experienced practice-trained accountant who wants scale, autonomy, and real influence. The organisation operates globally, supports a broad and prestigious client base, and runs complex, multi-jurisdictional accounting and compliance processes. Quality, credibility, and delivery matter here.

The environment includes a large, multi-entity, cross-border structure with genuine technical and operational complexity. You will have responsibility for statutory reporting, outsourced accounting services, and advisory-led engagements, with a strong culture of technical quality, continuous improvement, and accountability. There will be regular interaction with senior internal stakeholders and client leadership teams, along with ongoing investment in systems, capability building, and professional development.

As Senior Manager, you will lead the delivery of statutory and corporate accounting services across a portfolio of complex clients and entities. You will take responsibility for both technical quality and commercial delivery, managing teams, overseeing multiple workstreams, and acting as a trusted adviser to stakeholders. This is a leadership role with hands-on accountability. You will be expected to manage scale and complexity, mentor senior team members, and continually improve how work is delivered.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Overall responsibility for the production and review of statutory financial statements under UK GAAP and IFRS.
  • Managing the end-to-end statutory compliance cycle across multi-entity and cross-border groups.
  • Oversight of periodic management accounts, controls, and reporting processes.
  • Leading large accounting and finance projects, including multi-entity reporting and remediation work.
  • Advising stakeholders on statutory compliance requirements and reporting improvements.
  • Managing relationships with auditors and overseeing audit delivery across multiple entities.
  • Leading, developing, and performance-managing managers and senior associates.
  • Driving efficiency, consistency, and quality across accounting processes and teams.

The ideal individual will bring deep technical expertise, credibility with senior stakeholders, and a strong track record of leading complex accounting work in a professional services or comparable environment. This role suits someone comfortable working at pace, managing ambiguity, and balancing technical rigour with commercial judgement.

What’s On Offer:

  • A competitive senior-level remuneration package aligned to experience.
  • Annual bonus eligibility at Senior Manager level.
  • Clear scope for long-term career progression and leadership development.
  • Flexible working arrangements and support for continued professional growth.

If you’re ready to step into a senior role where technical quality, leadership, and judgement genuinely matter, this role is worth a closer look.
