iMultiply are delighted to be supporting a key client in the appointment of a Senior Financial Accountant. The business is an internationally established manufacturing company operating within a highly regulated environment. With a strong focus on operational excellence, continuous improvement and sustainability, the business offers a collaborative culture and genuine long-term career development within a complex and commercially driven finance function. This role will report directly to the Head of Finance and will join an experienced and high-performing finance team. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Accountant bringing strong technical accounting capability alongside a confident business partnering approach.
Responsibilities
- Financial and management reporting across multiple cost centres and departments
- Balance sheet reconciliations and control account management
- Supporting the Head of Finance with financial analysis and reporting
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, internal controls and corporate policies
- Contributing to month-end and year-end close processes
- Supporting internal and external audit processes and liaising with auditors
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Driving process improvement initiatives and supporting systems development
- Providing finance support for major operational and capital expenditure projects, including financial modelling of ad-hoc scenarios
- Liaising with external parties in relation to tax, banking and statutory reporting requirements
Ideal Candidate
This opportunity is best suited to a Qualified Accountant with a strong grounding in financial accounting, who can demonstrate:
- Solid technical accounting knowledge
- Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, production or other similar industry environments
- Strong Excel capability and experience working with ERP systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Confident communication style with the ability to partner effectively with non-finance stakeholders
- A proactive approach with high attention to detail and ownership mindset
