We’re working with a large, independent firm of accountants to recruit a Business Advisory Manager, who will oversee the delivery and review of work for a varied portfolio of clients across sectors including food & drink, rural, technology, oil & gas and construction. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional looking to take the next step in their career, with clear progression and future potential to manage their own client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the timely and profitable delivery of client work
  • Reviewing year‑end and management accounts, tax returns, VAT, budgets and forecasts
  • Reviewing and coaching assistants and seniors
  • Building strong client relationships and handling ad‑hoc queries
  • Liaising with internal specialists and identifying advisory opportunities
  • Portfolio management including onboarding, fees, WIP and debt

About You

  • ICAS, ACCA or equivalent qualified
  • Experience in a similar role preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Confident with accounts and tax software
  • Forward‑thinking, with strong IT skills and a collaborative approach
