Financial Planning and Analysis Manager in Fochabers

Location: Fochabers | Competitive Salary | Full-time, Permanent

Responsibilities:

• Produce, enhance and deliver management reporting packs, ensuring accuracy, clarity and meaningful commercial insight.
• Coordinate and prepare consolidated budgets, forecasts and long-range financial plans.
• Develop and maintain robust KPIs and dashboards to monitor business performance.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models to assess profitability at product and customer level.
• Deliver high-quality variance analysis and provide clear commentary for senior stakeholders.
• Present financial reports to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvement across financial reporting, modelling and analytical processes.
• Act as a key liaison between finance, operations and commercial teams, ensuring alignment and collaboration.

Previous Experience:

This opportunity is ideally suited to a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) with experience in FP&A, financial modelling and business partnering. You will bring:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in FP&A or a similar analytical finance role.
• Highly advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Experience developing dashboards (Power BI experience highly advantageous).
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex information in a clear and engaging manner.
• A proactive approach, with a passion for improving processes, systems and reporting capability.
• Confidence working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
