THE ROLE

As an Accounts & Business Advisory Senior, you will manage client portfolios, prepare complex statutory accounts, and deliver valuable advisory services. You will support the growth of the practice by mentoring junior staff and building strong client relationships.   • Manage and prepare complex annual statutory accounts for SME clients under UK GAAP
  • Provide accounting advice, best practice guidance, and support to clients
  • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
  • Mentor junior team members, answering queries and supporting their professional growth
  • Contribute to the fee process, manage billing, and monitor utilisation targets
  • Ensure accurate time recording and adherence to work standards

  • MANDATORY
  • ACA/ACCA/CA qualification or equivalent; newly qualified or QBE
  • Experience in preparing statutory accounts for SME clients
  • Working knowledge of UK GAAP; familiarity with IFRS is desirable
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or similar
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and mentoring
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets in a team setting

  • Experience with financial advisory and consultancy services
  • Exposure to audit or assurance processes
  • Knowledge of practice management, billing software, or CRM tools
