About the Role
As a Trainee Accountant, you\'ll work closely with experienced managers and partners while gaining hands-on exposure to a variety of clients. You\'ll develop your technical skills and professional expertise across a broad range of responsibilities, including:

  • Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
  • Bookkeeping using cloud-based software such as Xero, Sage Business Cloud, and Sage 50
  • Preparing VAT returns accurately and on time
  • Assisting managers and partners with ad-hoc projects and client queries
  • Ensuring compliance deadlines are met efficiently and to a high standard
About You
We\'re looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow within the profession. You\'ll bring:
  • Around 2 years\' experience within a UK accountancy practice and currently studying towards a recognised accountancy qualification
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A proactive, enthusiastic team player who can also work independently
