The Role

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you\’ll be responsible for supporting financial operations and delivering accurate and timely reporting that informs decision-making across the business. This is a varied position that touches all aspects of finance-from monthly accounts and forecasting to invoice processing and credit control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts with variance analysis
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting
  • Process supplier and customer invoices in line with terms
  • Manage accounts receivable, chasing outstanding payments to maintain cash flow
  • Maintain aged debtor and creditor reports, resolving any discrepancies
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and support month/year-end close
  • Contribute to cash flow forecasting and working capital management
  • Collaborate with external auditors and assist with statutory reporting
  • Drive process improvement across financial systems and operations

Who We\’re Looking For:

  • Part-qualified, fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience
  • Experience in management accounting and a broad knowledge of finance operations
  • Proficient in Xero, Sage 50, or similar accounting software and Excel
  • Hands-on with invoice processing, credit control, and reporting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and commercial awareness
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
