The role
This role can be tailored to fit your career goals. Whether you want to focus on audits, accounts, or a hybrid mix, you will be supported by a hands-on management team. You will work directly with clients, support junior colleagues, and take ownership of a range of assignments from planning to completion.
What you will be doing:
- Leading and supporting audits, including planning, fieldwork, and completion.
- Preparing statutory financial statements for a variety of clients.
- Managing on-site audit work and guiding junior team members through complex areas.
- Building and developing strong client relationships.
- Providing technical support and insights to colleagues and clients.
- Supporting the training and development of junior staff.
- Ensuring all documentation is accurate, compliant, and completed to a high standard.
- Managing your time and workload effectively, including admin and timesheets.
About you:
- You are a qualified accountant (ICAS/ACCA/ACA) - part-qualified candidates will also be considered.
- You have worked in an accountancy firm for at least 2 years.
- You have strong experience in audit, accounts, or both.
- You are proactive, team-focused, and confident working directly with clients.
- You are detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
- You are looking to grow in a firm that values your ideas and initiative.
