Overview
As an Assistant Manager, you\’ll oversee a varied portfolio of clients, offering strategic guidance, reviewing financial reports, and identifying opportunities to add value. You\’ll also play a key role in mentoring junior staff and contributing to process improvement across the department. You\’ll be a visible and proactive leader within the team—bringing insight, direction, and clarity to client engagements while supporting the growth and development of both people and processes.
Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day client relationships and recognising when to escalate issues or proactively develop solutions.
- Overseeing the preparation and review of statutory accounts and management reports.
- Translating financial data into actionable insights for clients.
- Coaching, mentoring and developing junior team members.
- Identifying opportunities to deliver additional value to clients.
- Ensuring high technical standards in both client work and internal processes.
Candidate Profile
- Professionally qualified (e.g. ACA, ACCA) or qualified by experience.
- An excellent communicator who can clearly articulate financial insights.
