We’re currently working with a highly regarded organisation in Glasgow that is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Transactional Finance Manager to lead their transactional finance function on a 12-month interim contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and capable finance leader to play a key role in a well-established and dynamic finance team.
The Role:
Reporting into the Financial Controller, this role will oversee all aspects of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cash Management, ensuring processes are efficient, compliant, and scalable. You will lead a medium-sized team and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a high-quality finance service during a period of operational transformation and change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage and develop the transactional finance team across AP, AR, and cash
- Oversee accurate and timely processing of all transactions in line with internal controls and compliance standards
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Manage working capital and cash flow reporting
- Support month-end close and audit processes related to transactional finance
- Act as key contact for system upgrades or process change initiatives within the transactional space
- Ensure strong stakeholder engagement across finance and wider business teams
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a similar senior finance role, ideally within a large or complex organisation
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams
- Expertise in transactional finance operations and process optimisation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong systems experience (SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP)
