The role:
You’ll be joining a small but experienced tax team, taking the lead on a portfolio of personal tax clients including high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and partners. You’ll be hands-on with compliance, while also advising on planning opportunities and mentoring junior colleagues.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing a personal tax portfolio and acting as the main point of contact.
- Preparing and reviewing tax returns for a variety of individuals.
- Providing tax planning advice to help clients optimise their tax positions.
- Building strong, trust-based relationships with clients.
- Supporting and guiding junior members of the tax team.
- Identifying ways to streamline processes and improve team efficiency.
About you:
- You have 4+ years of personal tax experience, ideally in an accountancy firm.
- You’re confident preparing and reviewing returns and providing client advice.
- You have excellent attention to detail and strong technical knowledge.
- You’re client-focused and enjoy building long-term relationships.
- You’re a clear communicator, both written and verbal.
- You’re a team player who’s always happy to support others.
