Job Description

Are you a commercially minded Management Accountant? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and growing manufacturing business with global operations. The Role

Reporting to the UK Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will take ownership of cost accounting and inventory processes, while also supporting broader month-end and project accounting activities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading cost accounting processes, including standard costing, BOM and routing validation, and inventory reconciliation
  • Supporting month-end close, journal entries, and statutory reporting under US GAAP and FRS 102
  • Managing intercompany transactions, fixed assets, VAT returns, and audit support
  • Contributing to project accounting, revenue recognition, and financial analysis
  • Driving process improvements and supporting system optimisation initiatives
  • Collaborating with international teams across finance and operations

This is a hands-on role offering variety, autonomy, and the chance to make a real impact in a growing finance function.

The Ideal Candidate

Mandatory

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or Qualified by Experience
  • Minimum 4 years’ progressive accounting experience
  • Strong cost accounting and inventory management knowledge
  • Experience with US GAAP and/or FRS 102
  • Proficient in Excel and financial systems (NetSuite or similar ERP)
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions
