Full Job Description i Multiply are working in partnership with an exciting company in Edinburgh looking for a skilled Accounts Payable & Receivable Manager to support the team on a 6 - month fixed term contract, starting immediately, with potential of this being extended for the right individual.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to make a meaningful impact, drive improvements, and lead a talented team in a dynamic environment.
You'll play a key role in identifying opportunities for efficiency, automation, and process improvement, collaborating with internal teams.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive a high-performing team culture are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team, ensuring their professional growth and cross-functional collaboration.
- Establish and maintain strong financial controls across AP & AR functions.
- Foster a positive team culture, promoting engagement, recognising achievements, and encouraging open communication.
- Continuously review and refine processes to enhance efficiency and risk management.
- Oversee supplier payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Manage client billing, debt collection, and credit risk while driving efficiencies within the billing system.
- Develop and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with SLAs and maintain reconciliations for debtor and creditor accounts.
- Manage corporate card expenses, ensuring timely submissions.
- Contribute to finance transformation projects and system enhancements.
- Collaborate with wider Finance teams to deliver valuable insights and reporting.
Experience Required
- 5+ years of experience in AP/AR/Credit Control functions.
- Proven experience leading and managing teams with a track record of success.
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail and the ability to think strategically.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
