We’re currently working with a highly regarded organisation in Glasgow that is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Transactional Finance Manager to lead their transactional finance function on a 12-month interim contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and capable finance leader to play a key role in a well-established and dynamic finance team.
The Role:
- Reporting into the Financial Controller, this role will oversee all aspects of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cash Management, ensuring processes are efficient, compliant, and scalable.
- You will lead a medium-sized team and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a high-quality finance service during a period of operational transformation and change.
- Lead, manage and develop the transactional finance team across AP, AR, and cash.
- Support month-end close and audit processes related to transactional finance.
- Ensure strong stakeholder engagement across finance and wider business teams.
- Proven experience in a similar senior finance role, ideally within a large or complex organisation.
- Expertise in transactional finance operations and process optimisation.
- Strong systems experience (SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP).
- Lead a key area of the finance function with autonomy and support.
