Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on support and mentorship to a newly appointed Finance Manager as they transition into the sector.
  • Lead the preparation of statutory accounts and ensure the organisation is audit-ready.

  • Work closely with auditors and internal stakeholders to streamline financial operations.

About You
  • A full accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ICAS or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in the housing association or social housing sector.
  • Strong skills in statutory accounts, audits, and Excel (including macros).
  • A collaborative, mentoring style and a pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset.
  • The ability to work independently and communicate confidently with diverse stakeholders.
What’s on Offer
  • Contract: 6-month interim role, with strong potential for extension.
  • Working Hours: Full-time (35 hours/week); a condensed 4-day week will also be considered.
  • Hybrid Working: Minimum of 2 days a week in-office; remote working available on other days, including Fridays (when the office is closed).
  • Rate: Competitive, based on experience.
