The Business

Our client is a long-established and highly respected business headquartered in Glasgow, with a specialist reputation across healthcare, life sciences, higher education and specialist laboratory design. Over recent years, the business has strengthened its financial governance, forecasting capability and board structure. The next stage of development now requires a commercially astute finance professional who can elevate reporting capability, improve financial visibility and support more informed strategic decision-making across the business.

The Opportunity

This is not a traditional transactional finance or bookkeeping role. The business is seeking an experienced finance professional who can operate as a trusted advisor to the Board — bringing commercial insight, modern reporting capability and strategic financial leadership on a part-time basis. Working closely with the Practice Manager, Directors and Non-Executive Board members, you will take ownership of management reporting, improve the quality and presentation of financial information and help shape future financial planning and business strategy.
