A leading UK accountancy and advisory firm is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality, accurate and compliant payroll services to a diverse client portfolio. This position plays a key role in team leadership, operational excellence, and the continued development of the firm’s payroll offering.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the payroll team, supporting performance management and professional growth.
- Build a high-performance culture focused on quality, accountability, and technical excellence.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll and taxation legislation, ensuring all services remain compliant and industry-leading.
- Identify and implement opportunities to enhance payroll accuracy, efficiency, workflows, and processes.
- Conduct regular quality reviews to ensure governance and compliance standards are consistently met.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and regular service meetings.
- Contribute to strategic growth initiatives with both new and existing clients.
