This role involves transactional finance support for a not-for-profit organisation, focusing on accounts receivable and payable functions. You will work closely within a team to ensure financial accuracy, assist in system improvements, and contribute to internal and external audits. The position offers hybrid working, with a minimum of two days weekly in-office in the Edinburgh area.
- Process rent and sales invoices, ensuring correct data entry.
- Manage incoming payments and reconcile bank transactions using Autopay and Bankline.
- Support period-end and year-end reporting, including data reconciliation.
- Assist in system improvements and data imports into Sun financial software.
1-2 years experience in transactional finance functions (AR/AP).
AAT qualified (or equivalent) or educated to HNC level.
Proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, v-lookups).
Experience with financial software, ideally Sun and CX housing system.
Flexible and adaptable to changing tasks.
The position is a fixed-term contract of 6 months, with a competitive salary range (to be confirmed after discussions).
