Job Description Are you ready to play a vital role in supporting clients with their tax needs? You will assist in preparing tax computations, liaise with HMRC, and help manage a portfolio of small clients. Prepare corporate and personal tax computations supporting HMRC submissions Coordinate tax payments, loss relief claims, and capital allowances Keep up-to-date with UK tax legislation and regulations Communicate with HMRC on behalf of clients, both orally and in writing Handle administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and maintaining tax documentation Liaise with the audit and accounting teams to ensure integrated service delivery Manage a small portfolio of clients, ensuring timely filings and identifying tax-saving opportunities A capable professional with solid UK tax experience, eager to develop further, and committed to delivering high-quality service. At least 2 years’ experience within a UK tax team Studying towards a tax qualification or ATT qualified Strong technical knowledge of UK corporation and personal tax Proficient in Excel and MS Office; familiarity with tax software preferred Experience with tax planning, compliance, and HMRC procedures Exposure to accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks Knowledge of tax automation and reporting tools This is a full-time, permanent role based in a friendly office environment in the Dunfermline area.
