We are excited to be recruiting for a newly created Assistant Manager/Supervisor position within the growing Business Services team of a successful independent accountancy practice. This new role has been introduced to give greater support to junior team members.
Working closely with an established team, you’ll take the lead on reviewing year-end accounts and returns, managing less complex jobs, and supporting the development of junior staff.
Key Responsibilities- Review accounts and tax returns prepared by junior staff
- Manage a portfolio of less complex clients and assignments
- Provide day-to-day guidance and supervision to junior staff
- Act as a key point of contact between junior staff and Business Services Managers
- Help maintain high standards of quality and service delivery across the team
- Ideally qualified (CA/ACCA) with 1-2 years’ post-qualification experience
- Non-qualified/'Qualified by Experience' candidates with strong practical experience in a similar role will be considered
- Confident reviewing and supervising work prepared by junior team members
- Clear communicator with a proactive, team-first mindset
- Comfortable working within a 4:1 office-to-home working pattern
You’ll join a close-knit team of 8-10 professionals, including two experienced Business Services Managers. Beneath manager level, the team consists of both qualified and part-qualified staff.
