iMultiply are working in partnership with an exciting company in Edinburgh for an Accounts Payable supervisor role to assist the Accounts payable team and drive performance. We are looking for someone experienced in Accounts Payable, well organised, with experience in managing teams.
Location: Edinburgh, Scotland (Hybrid)
Contract: 3–6 Months Contract
Salary: Up to £41,000 per annum
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support a team of 2 Accounts Payable Assistants
- Oversee daily AP operations and ensure timely processing of invoices
- Perform bank and vendor reconciliations
- Assist with month-end closing tasks
- Act as the first point of contact for AP-related queries
- Develop and assign weekly action plans for the AP team
- Ensure compliance with internal AP processes and controls
Skills Required:
- Proven experience in Accounts Payable, ideally in a supervisory role
- Strong reconciliation and month-end close experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Hands-on, proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills
- Immediate availability or short notice preferred
