Temporary Accounts Assistant

Dundee (Hybrid – Office Tue-Thu)

Salary range: £29,131 – £30,100

Full-time | 37.5 hours per week

30 days holiday (incl. public holidays)

Immediate start – Temp with potential to go permanent

iMultiply are delighted to be partnering with a well-established company based in Dundee to recruit a Temporary Accounts Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and collaborative finance team during a period of transition, with the potential for the role to become permanent.

Key Responsibilities

• Posting payroll costs into journals
• Journal entries including bank and credit card transactions
• Invoice processing and manual invoicing for specific candidates
• Salary sacrifice postings
• Asset register checks and reporting
• Reconciliations of purchase orders
• Month-end support including accruals and prepayments
• Bad debt provision and depreciation entries
• Aged debt reporting and analysis
• Additional ad hoc journal entries as required

Skills Required

• Previous experience in a similar finance or accounts assistant role
• Solid understanding of journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end processes
• Confidence using Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Availability to start within the next few weeks
