CNC Operators required in Stroud – Double Days - Permanent – Fulltime – Up to £33,000 + Bonus.
My client is looking for multiple CNC Operators that can operate CNC machines in a production environment, ensuring top quality within the given timescale.
The role:
- Operating CNC machines within a production cell (Horizontal or Turn/Mill)
- Completing basic machine checks and maintaining a safe working environment
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- Carrying out basic program edits/offset adjustments where required
- Supporting continuous improvement and minimising scrap
- Working closely with team leaders and other shop floor personnel
The Person:
- Experience operating CNC machinery (turning, milling, or both)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Basic CNC programming knowledge (offsets/edits)
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Good communication and teamworking skills
Desirable:
- Apprenticeship or engineering qualification
- Experience working with a range of materials in a precision environment
