An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Engineer to join an established engineering business. You'll take ownership of projects from design through to manufacture, installation and commissioning, working with major customers across sectors including food, pharmaceutical, distribution and automotive.
The Role
- Manage projects valued up to several million pounds
- Take responsibility for project budgets, timescales and delivery
- Act as the main customer contact throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, Software and Manufacturing teams
- Liaise with suppliers and produce technical documentation including FDS, FAT and SAT
- Support installation and commissioning at UK and overseas customer sites
- Ensure projects meet customer, legislative and compliance requirements
About You
- You'll ideally have: HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
- Experience delivering engineering projects
- Strong project management, problem-solving and organisational skills
- Excellent customer and stakeholder management abilities
- Understanding of mechanical or control system design
- Familiarity with 2D/3D CAD and electrical schematics
- Full UK Driving Licence
