Mechanical Fitter Stroud Up to £18.00 per hour + Overtime + Benefits Permanent | Full Time An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a well-established engineering manufacturer based in Stroud.
Working as part of a skilled production team, you'll be involved in the assembly and build of high-quality engineered equipment, working from detailed engineering drawings to produce complex mechanical assemblies to the highest standards.

The Role As a Mechanical Fitter, you'll be responsible for assembling a wide range of mechanical systems and fabricated components, ensuring products are built accurately, safely and to specification.
Your responsibilities will include: Mechanical fitting and final assembly of engineered products Reading and interpreting engineering and assembly drawings Marking out, cutting, pipe bending and preparing fabricated components Inspecting completed assemblies to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy Working to health and safety procedures at all times Supporting continuous improvement and maintaining high manufacturing standards About You We're looking for someone with a practical engineering background and excellent attention to detail.
