Our client, a growing and technology-driven organisation, is looking to hire a 1st Line Support Engineer to join their internal IT support team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills and a passion for technology to join a collaborative environment where you’ll gain exposure to a wide range of systems, users and technologies.

You’ll be the first point of contact for technical support issues, helping to ensure users receive a responsive and professional IT support experience.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide 1st line technical support across hardware, software and user accounts
  • Log, manage and resolve IT support tickets within agreed SLAs
  • Troubleshoot issues relating to Windows environments, Office 365 and end-user devices
  • Support laptop builds, onboarding and user account administration
  • Escalate more complex issues to 2nd and 3rd line teams where required

You’ll work closely with wider IT teams and end users across the business, ensuring a high level of customer service and technical support.

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience within a 1st Line Support, IT Support or Service Desk role
  • Good understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple support requests
  • Enthusiastic, proactive and keen to learn new technologies
  • Experience with Active Directory, ticketing systems or hybrid working environments would be advantageous.
