Our client is currently hiring a Network Manager to lead IT and digital services in Weston-super-Mare. This role offers the opportunity to combine hands-on technical support with strategic input, shaping the school’s digital direction while ensuring reliable day-to-day operations.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the day-to-day operation, support, and continuous improvement of IT systems and services
- Manage and develop the on-site IT support team, including coaching and performance management
- Own service quality, availability, and user experience, ensuring effective incident and problem management
- Act as the senior escalation point for IT issues and service concerns
- Contribute to and deliver the IT and digital strategy in collaboration with senior leadership
You’ll work closely with school leadership, internal IT teams, and third-party providers to ensure technology supports both educational and operational priorities.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience managing or leading IT support services
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience with ITIL or structured service delivery frameworks
- Background in education or similarly regulated environments
- Strong technical knowledge across Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, and infrastructure
