About the Role:
Our client, a well-established and growing business based in Moreton-in-Marsh, is seeking a Trainee Sales Estimator to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who is looking to build a career in estimation and quoting within a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilise software to interpret drawings and create accurate estimates and quotations
- Prepare and issue detailed quotes and costings for clients based on project specifications
- Liaise directly with customers to clarify project requirements and provide updates throughout the estimation process
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g. design, production) to ensure accuracy and feasibility of quotes
- Maintain accurate records of all estimates and customer communications
- Support the sales and project management teams as required
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
- Previous experience in an estimating or technical drawing environment is beneficial but not essential
