2nd Line IT Support Engineer – Microsoft 365 & Cyber Security Location: Kemble Salary: £34,000 – £38,000 DOE Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Working Pattern: 4 days office / 1 day home Additional Requirement: Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle About the Role: Our client is an established and growing IT Managed Service Provider, supporting a wide range of organisations with IT support, Microsoft 365 and cyber security solutions. They are looking for an experienced 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join their technical team in the Gloucestershire area. This is a customer-focused role suited to someone who enjoys solving technical problems, working across Microsoft cloud technologies and developing their experience within cyber security. You’ll work closely with customers to resolve technical issues, support their IT environments and contribute to ongoing projects and technology rollouts. What You’ll Do: Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to a range of customers Troubleshoot and resolve Windows 11 hardware and software issues Support Microsoft 365 environments and user administration Administer and troubleshoot Entra ID and Exchange Online Support Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Assist with Microsoft Intune deployments and device management Support cyber security solutions and promote security best practice Monitor and resolve technical issues across customer environments Participate in customer projects, migrations and technology rollouts Provide occasional onsite support at customer locations Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation Work closely with customers to ensure issues are resolved effectively Escalate more complex technical issues when required What We’re Looking For: Previous experience within an MSP or IT Support environment Strong Windows 11 troubleshooting experience Good Microsoft 365 administration skills Experience with Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and Entra ID Good understanding of networking fundamentals Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service skills A proactive approach and willingness to develop your technical knowledge Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Ability to work from the Tetbury office at least 4 days per week Right to work in the UK Desirable Experience Experience with any of the following would be advantageous: Microsoft Intune Microsoft Defender
