Role: Senior IT Support Engineer
Location: Malvern (Hybrid Working)
Salary: Up to £40,000 DOE

We’re working with a long-standing client, a well-established UK business with a reputation for treating its staff like family, to help them find a Senior IT Support Engineer to join their team. You’ll be based in Malvern, working directly with the IT Manager in a small, supportive team where your voice and ideas will be heard. This role is a brilliant fit for someone currently working in 2nd/3rd Line Support or on a Service Desk, who’s hungry for more ownership, project exposure, and the opportunity to shape IT from the inside out.
The Role:
This isn’t just another support job. It’s a chance to step into a senior role, leading the day-to-day support function while helping complete and maintain a major Microsoft Intune project that’s currently in progress.You’ll work in a tight-knit team where collaboration is key, and where you’ll be trusted to get on with things, bring fresh ideas, and challenge the norm. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Taking full ownership of Intune – support, maintenance, migration, and optimisation
- Acting as the lead for 2nd/3rd line support, delivering excellent service across the business
- Working on a variety of IT projects, including app deployment, device management, and process improvement
- Speaking directly with users and key stakeholders, this is not a hide-behind-email role
- Collaborating closely with the IT Manager to support and improve IT strategy
What We’re Looking For:
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, ideally including rollout or major support work
- Familiarity with app wrapping, ISO Android policies, and global admin-level activity
- Someone who’s comfortable working on their own initiative and taking the lead on tasks
- Excellent communication skills – friendly, confident, and happy to jump on a call or walk over to someone’s desk
- A proactive mindset and a genuine interest in both support and IT project delivery
