I am currently working with an engineering business in Hereford that’s looking to add an Electrical Design Engineer to its growing team. This is a permanent role offering a salary of up to £45,000 plus benefits, where you’ll play a key part in taking products from concept through to production. You’ll be involved in both new product development and continuous improvement, working within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary engineering environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading electrical design for special purpose equipment (schematics, control panels, cable schedules)
- Selecting electrical components with compliance and safety in mind
- Supporting PLC-based control systems
- Producing detailed electrical documentation and contributing to design reviews and testing
