Our client, a leading retail organisation, is hiring a Management Accountant on a fixed-term basis to support financial planning, reporting and commercial decision-making across the business. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, providing meaningful financial insight that directly influences operational and strategic decisions. It would suit an analytical and commercially minded finance professional who enjoys partnering with non-finance teams and driving continuous improvement.

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver monthly management accounts, including P&L analysis and reconciliations
  • Support budgeting and quarterly reforecasting processes
  • Prepare board packs with clear financial commentary
  • Partner with Retail and Marketing to challenge spend and improve cost control
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis to support strategic decision-making

You’ll work closely with the FP&A Manager, CFO and department heads, presenting insights at quarterly reviews and supporting senior stakeholders with forecasting, lease analysis and audit queries.

What we're looking for:

  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
  • Strong Excel skills with the ability to model and analyse large datasets
  • Experience producing management accounts and financial reporting
  • Confident stakeholder engagement and business partnering experience
  • Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
