Stores Person Coleford Permanent Position 38 hours per week (Monday – Thursday 07:45 – 16:00, Fri 07:45-15:15) Responsible for the storage, picking, packing of project-related materials and products ensuring accuracy, efficiency and compliance. The Project storeman plays a key role in ensuring project parts and products are complete, traceable, clearly presented and safety handled. The primary focus of the role is the preparation, kitting and despatch readiness of components and project materials. while also co-ordinating a small sub-contract(or in-house) packing team and supporting wider standard packing priorities where required. The role additionally supports stock management and goods-in activities as necessary. Key Responsibilities Accurately pick, kit and prepare large project orders in line with project documentation and SAP requirements. Ensure all materials are complete, traceable and delivered to correct kitting or packing areas. Co-ordinate daily packing activities in line with project deadlines and business priorities. Pro-actively identify and chase shortages to support on-time project completion. Pack, measure, clean, photograph and document items prior to despatch to ensure orders are complete and compliant. Qualification's & Experience Previous warehouse, stores or picking / packing experience preferred. Experience leading or co-ordinating small teams desirable. Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems desirable. Forklift licence desirable (training provided if required). Full Valid Driving licence
