Our client, a leading organisation within the IT services sector, is hiring a Project Implementation Engineer to deliver high-quality technical projects across a diverse client base. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex infrastructure and cloud implementations while playing a key part in successful project delivery.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the delivery of technical projects including system deployments, infrastructure upgrades, data migrations and application integrations
- Ensure all implementations meet best practice, security, compliance and client-specific requirements
- Deploy and configure end-user computing solutions across desktop, laptop and mobile environments
- Install, configure and optimise network infrastructure including switches, routers and next-generation firewalls
- Implement and support cloud and on-premise infrastructure, including virtualised and hybrid environments
- Deliver and migrate enterprise email solutions across on-premise and cloud platforms
You’ll work closely with delivery, account management and service desk teams to ensure smooth handovers and successful outcomes for clients.
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years’ experience in an IT engineering role (2nd line level or equivalent)
- Proven experience delivering technical implementation projects
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking and cloud technologies
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure and AWS environments
- Excellent communication, documentation and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
