Our client, a leading organisation within the manufacturing and supply chain sector, is hiring an Platform Lead – Warehouse & Inventory to take ownership of their warehouse and inventory ERP platforms. This role is critical to ensuring stable, scalable systems that support operational efficiency and continuous improvement across the business.
This position offers the opportunity to act as the subject matter expert for warehouse and inventory modules, influencing system design, managing change, and working closely with internal stakeholders and third-party partners.
What you’ll do:
- Own and manage the warehouse and inventory management modules within the ERP landscape
- Act as the key interface with consultants and third-party vendors
- Govern and manage customisations related to warehouse and inventory processes
- Provide second-line support for complex issues escalated from the service desk
- Review and guide change requests through design and implementation
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on user feedback and business demand
- Govern ERP implementations within your functional areas
- Coordinate closely with purchasing, sales, manufacturing, planning, and finance teams
- Ensure system integrity, documentation standards, and alignment with platform strategy
You’ll work closely with platform leads, support teams, implementation teams, and business SMEs to ensure systems deliver measurable business value.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong experience in inventory and warehouse management systems
- Hands-on experience with JD Edwards E1 9.2, ideally within warehouse environments
- ERP implementation experience within warehouse and inventory modules (highly desirable)
- Familiarity with related ERP modules and end-to-end business processes
- Experience across the full software development lifecycle
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills across IT and non-IT teams
