Working with an experienced offshore development team, you'll be the key link between customers and delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and to the highest standard. Alongside managing multiple software projects, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how delivery operates across the organisation.

What you'll do

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of bespoke software development projects.
  • Act as Scrum Master, facilitating Agile ceremonies and removing delivery blockers.
  • Manage priorities, timelines, budgets and stakeholder expectations across multiple client projects.
  • Build and implement project governance, reporting frameworks and delivery processes from the ground up.
  • Work closely with an established offshore development team to ensure effective planning, communication and collaboration.
  • Engage directly with customers, providing regular project updates and managing risks proactively.
  • Drive continuous improvement across Agile delivery practices and project management standards.
  • Support the business as it scales by creating repeatable delivery methodologies and best practices.

You'll work closely with developers, technical leaders, customers and senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions while helping shape the future of project delivery within the business.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience delivering bespoke software development projects.
  • Strong Project Management and Scrum Master experience within an Agile environment.
  • Experience leading or coordinating offshore development teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and customer-facing communication skills.
  • Experience establishing governance, delivery frameworks or PMO processes.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycles.
  • Confident managing multiple projects simultaneously in a consultancy or client-facing environment.

The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive and commercially aware, with the confidence to introduce structure whilst remaining adaptable in a fast-paced consultancy environment.

Why join?

  • Be the first Project Manager and help shape the future of delivery.
  • Work on a variety of bespoke software projects across multiple industries.

How to prepare for a job interview at IMT Resourcing Solutions

Brush Up on Your Coding Skills

For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.

Know Your Tools and Frameworks

Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned. If IMT Resourcing Solutions uses React or Node.js, for instance, be ready to discuss how we’ve used them in previous projects or coursework.

Showcase Your Projects

Bring along a portfolio that highlights our best work. This could be code samples, GitHub repositories, or any side projects we’ve built. Make sure we can talk through our thought process for each project, especially the challenges we faced and how we solved them—this shows our problem-solving skills in action.

Prepare for Behavioural Questions

While technical skills are key, full-time positions also require cultural fit. Be ready to discuss our previous experiences and how we handle teamwork, conflict, and deadlines. Brush up on the STAR method—Situation, Task, Action, Result—to clearly articulate our past experiences when discussing how we've contributed to a team.
