We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with strong SolidWorks skills to produce high-quality drawings and CAD models for our range of Special Purpose Equipment. This is a fast-paced role with varied customer requirements, alongside opportunities to contribute to process improvements and technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce SolidWorks models, GA drawings, and maintain the standard parts library.
- Create customer approval, production, and as-built drawings, including GA and P&ID schematics.
- Review drawings and calculations.
- Manage engineering change requests.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams.
- Run small engineering projects from start to finish.
- Prepare technical documents such as datasheets and O&M content.
Skills & Experience
- Experience designing mechanical/electrical equipment.
- Strong SolidWorks skills essential.
- Knowledge of sheet metal, fabrication, and steelwork beneficial.
- Electrical knowledge, AutoCAD 2D, and Revit experience advantageous.
