IMS Recruitment’s client operates modern hospitals and community healthcare in Bermuda offering high standards of care from its international workforce. Bermuda is renowned for a high standard of living, outdoor activities, historical towns, beautiful beaches, and a wonderful climate.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as nutrition consultant to the health care team(s) and providing direct and indirect nutrition care to patients.
- Identifying and assessing patients that are at nutritional risk, patients on therapeutic diets, and patients with complex medical conditions for individual needs.
- Monitoring patient’s progress for efficacy of nutritional intervention, providing reassessment of nutritional status, and adjusting nutrition care plan according to established protocols.
- Providing counselling and education to patients/significant others regarding drug-nutrient interactions, nutrition intervention, or therapeutic diets as appropriate.
The offer includes excellent working conditions and financial terms:
- Attractive salary (very low tax).
- Assistance with relocation and accommodation for the first 3 months.
- 3 year contracts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Masters of Science from an accredited University with a major in Nutrition/Dietetics.
- A minimum of one-year post internship experience in a clinical hospital setting, within the past three years.
- Must demonstrate ability to provide independent clinical nutrition care services to a wide range of patients with simple to very complex medical nutritional therapy.
- Eligible for licensing with the Bermudan Council for Allied Health Professions.
- Relocation required.
