QATAR. HOSPITAL NURSE VACANCIES (SPORTS / REHABILITATION / ORTHOPAEDICS/TRAUMA/ACUTE SURGERY) IMS Recruitment is a leading recruiter of medical staff for top Middle East hospitals. IMS is now seeking a number of experienced nurses for its hospital client in Qatar. With staff comprising of leading medical practitioners from around the globe, our prestigious client operates a renowned sports medicine centre in Doha, Qatar. This is an excellent opportunity to work as a nurse in one of the most renowned healthcare facilities in The Middle East.
Ideally, candidates should have the following:
- Knowledgeable about muscle skeletal anatomy, sports injuries and performing Cardiology and Muscle skeletal assessment.
- Competent to perform stress ECG, normal ECG, Spirometry test and Vision test.
- Ability to assist the patient for cardiac Echo.
- Knowledge and skills about Airway management.
- Knowledge about pharmacological medication, indication and side effects.
- Competent to conduct CPR and a member of the code blue team.
- Skills and knowledge about pain management and the use of controlled drugs.
- Able and competent to assist the anaesthetists during the peri-operative period.
Requirements:
- Eligible for a license from the licensing authority in the State of Qatar.
- Senior Registered Nurse: Minimum experience of 4-6 years in which 2 years should be in a similar position/responsibility, preferably in orthopaedics, acute surgery or related care.
- Registered Nurse: Minimum experience of 3-5 years in which 1 year should be in a similar position/responsibility.
- Graduate of a recognized School of Nursing. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Post graduate qualifications preferable.
- Very good level of English is essential.
- Relocation in Qatar is required.
