BERMUDA. CLINICAL EDUCATOR NURSE JOB (relocation is required)

IMS is seeking an experienced CLINICAL EDUCATOR NURSE for its Nursing Staff Development Department.
Key responsibilities include:
- Plans, develops, implements, evaluates and promotes patient, family, community and staff education for the assigned directorate.
- Establishes educational goals and objectives on behalf of the Nursing Staff Development Department for the Maternal/ Child Directorate
- Establishes attainable staff competencies and assists staff in maintaining high standards of performance
- Assists with orientation and ongoing clinical and professional development of staff
- Assists with direct patient care to maintain clinical skills.
- Deputizes for other Clinical Nurse Educators when required

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Master’s / Pots-grad education preferred.
- Proven ability in developing/facilitating modules designed to expedite adult learning.
- Competent with all technology required for presentations, etc.
- Minimum of five (5) years relevant Maternal/Child experience
- Demonstrated superior communication, interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills
- CPR Instructor Certification, Moving & Handling, S.T.A.B.L.E., PALS, and NRP Instructor would be an asset.
- Must be proficient in MS Office 365 application and electronic medical record
- Eligible for registration with the Bermuda Nursing Council
