BERMUDA. CLINICAL EDUCATOR NURSE JOB (relocation is required)

We are seeking a qualified, highly motivated and skilled professional nurse to work in a supportive, but demanding environment. The ability to work harmoniously within a team of professionals is critical as we continue to improve patient care.

IMS is seeking an experienced CLINICAL EDUCATOR NURSE for its Nursing Staff Development Department.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Plans, develops, implements, evaluates and promotes patient, family, community and staff education for the assigned directorate.
  • Establishes educational goals and objectives on behalf of the Nursing Staff Development Department for the Maternal/ Child Directorate
  • Establishes attainable staff competencies and assists staff in maintaining high standards of performance
  • Assists with orientation and ongoing clinical and professional development of staff
  • Assists with direct patient care to maintain clinical skills.
  • Deputizes for other Clinical Nurse Educators when required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Master’s / Pots-grad education preferred.
  • Proven ability in developing/facilitating modules designed to expedite adult learning.
  • Competent with all technology required for presentations, etc.
  • Minimum of five (5) years relevant Maternal/Child experience
  • Demonstrated superior communication, interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills
  • CPR Instructor Certification, Moving & Handling, S.T.A.B.L.E., PALS, and NRP Instructor would be an asset.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office 365 application and electronic medical record
  • Eligible for registration with the Bermuda Nursing Council
