IMS Recruitment is a leading recruiter of medical staff for top Middle East hospitals. IMS is now seeking a CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST. With staff comprising of leading medical practitioners from around the globe, our prestigious client operates a multidisciplinary premium mental therapy clinic in Doha, Qatar. Our client provides high quality medically driven and evidence-based services for adults and juveniles.
This role is designed for a clinician with deep expertise in treating adolescents and adults, particularly those presenting with complex emotional, trauma-related, and relational challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Specialist Intervention: Deliver evidence-based psychological services for adolescents and adults (e.g., mood disorders, personality vulnerabilities, complex trauma, and emotional dysregulation).
- Therapeutic Modalities: Utilize advanced interventions including CBT, Trauma-Informed Care, mindfulness-based approaches and couples/family therapy.
- Assessment: Conduct and interpret comprehensive psychological assessments (e.g., WAIS, MMPI-3, WIAT) to inform diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical supervision, mentoring, and professional guidance to junior psychologists and multidisciplinary team members.
- A minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in clinical psychology.
- Masters and/or PhD in Clinical Psychology essential.
- Formal training in CBT is required.
- Advanced certification in Trauma modalities (e.g., EMDR) or Couples Therapy is highly desirable.
- Strong experience with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
- International or Western training/exposure.
- Experience in reputable private-sector settings.
- Eligible to be licensed by the Licensing authority in the State of Qatar.
- License from the country of origin as a Clinical Psychologist.
- Relocation is required.
