Key Responsibilities
- Supervision of technical functions of Haematology Unit
- Responsible for quality assurance within Haematology Unit
- Assist with the writing and maintenance of appropriate departmental policies and procedures and ensure continued compliance with Joint Commission International Accreditation and Canada Accreditation requirements
- Assist with quality improvement practices and outcome measurements
- Prepare and provide associated general and statistical reports as required by the Department of Pathology
- Liaises with the Chief of Pathology to ensure accountability and acceptable turn-around-times for all inpatient/outpatient studies

Requirements
- Consultant in Haematology
- Minimum Education DM, FRC Path or equivalent Pathology and Hematologic Pathology
- Board qualified Consultant in Haematology
- Minimum of 5 years postgraduate experience in Haematology & Blood Transfusion
- Eligible for registration with Bermuda Medical Council
